As part of WGU’s ongoing review of academic programs and course levels, WGU has updated certain transfer articulations, including removing some Sophia Learning articulations.

To support students currently in progress, WGU is providing a 30 day grace period beginning March 1, 2026.
  • Students may complete impacted Sophia Learning coursework through February 2026.
  • Official Sophia Learning transcripts must be received by WGU during March 2026 to be considered under the prior articulation guidelines.
  • After the grace period concludes, WGU can accept general education and lower-division courses for transfer, but upper-division courses must be completed at WGU. To see the current list of transferable courses, visit our website at WGU Transfer Pathways Site.

This grace period is intended to allow students already working toward completion sufficient time to finish coursework and submit transcripts while WGU completes its articulation transition.
